How do I get directions to your location?
Southern State Parkway to Exit 35, (Wellwood Ave) go north on Wellwood, two blocks, make a right onto Patton Ave. We are #600 on the right side.
Long Island Expressway- If coming from the East exit at 49N, at 1st light make a left onto Pinelawn Road, take down past the National Cemetary, go over R/R tracks, turns into Wellwood Ave, go two Blocks and make a left onto Patton Ave. We are #600.
If coming from the West exit at 49S, go to the third traffic light and make a right onto Pinelawn Road, take down past the National Cemetary, go over R/R tracks, turns into Wellwood Ave, go two Blocks and make left onto Patton Ave. We are #600.
Long Island Railroad to Pinelawn Station. Walk south (away from the tracks)down Wellwood Ave to Patton Ave (about 15 minutes)
How long does it take to get my CDL?
It will depend on your driving skills and any prior experience you might have.
What do I have to do to get my CDL?
You must 1st have your New York State Driver’s license before you can begin to prepare for a CDL license. The next step is to pass the written test at the DMV for the CDL permit. We offer preparation classes to assist in preparing you for the exam.
Where do I take my CDL written test?
The actual written exam is taken at the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
What are the hours I can take training?
The school offers training 7 days a week from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The office is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm and on Saturday from 7:30am to 2:30pm.
Do you have training in Spanish?
No, but we do have Spanish speaking Instructors at the school that can assist our bilingual population in better understanding some of the curriculums. You may contact the school for further information to see if this will be enough to assist you.
Do I have to pay upfront?
All private lessons must be prepaid in cash. For Career Courses if you are paying on your own, you will discuss payment plan options with Admissions prior to beginning your program. Financing is available on Career Courses if qualified.
Do you have other locations other than West Babylon?
We do have an upstate location in Kingston, NY. Their phone number is 845-336-2300. We do not have locations in the 5 Boroughs, but we do provide pick-up service from the Long Island Railroad Station.
Do you offer job placement assistance?
We do offer job placement assistance on our CAREER COURSES only. We can offer both local and long-distance positions.
Do I need prior CDL Driving experience?
You do not need to have prior experience. We also will teach you stick shift training. You just need to have a valid NYS Driver’s License.
